What is in a logo? A logo is very often the first visual contact of a company has with the world. It tells people what the company represents and also the personality of the company. But that doesn’t mean it has to be boring in designing a logo. As a designer, I will always try to add an element of surprise or fun into the logos that I design. 2 of my favourite logo that I designed are Euro-Chill and KidStyle.
Euro-Chill is a range of chillers designed and sold by a local leading supplier of commercial kitchen / F&B Equipment in Singapore, U-Save F & B Equipment Pte Ltd (U-SAVE).
Certain terms like "cold", "degree", "temperature", "box", "ice" came into play. So what I decided to do is to make use of the the letter "O" & "C" to form the symbol for degree Celsius (°C). This is one of the way I make the logos that I design abit more interesting, adding depth to it.

Can you spot the hidden symbol?
KidStyle came to me with the idea of updating their logo to a more current and yet still fun enough to be a brand associated with kids.
What do you associate with kids? Fantasy? Fairy? Laughter? Fun? What do you see in the logo that I have done for KidStyle?

Tada!! The magic wane!

The face of a kid with a grinning with a wink in the eye.
There you go, logo design can often be interesting with a small touch like this. Clients often turn to designers with the hope of creating something brillant for them. As a designer, what we can do is to go the extra mile and do something even better. For me, it is projects like this that keeps me going.
